Dr. Rollett Pruyn was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. His Father, Dr. Earl
Pruyn graduated from WSU in 1949 and also opened Pruyn Veterinary Hospital in 1949.
Dr. Rollett Pruyn graduated from Colorado State University in 1981 and started
practice.
In 2003 Dr. Rollett Pruyn and Dr. Dick Richardson built and opened Blue Mountain
Veterinary Hospital and Surgery PLLC. Dr. Rollett enjoys practicing on all species.
In his spare time he also runs a commercial beef herd.

Dr. Dick Richardson
RETIRED
Dr. Dick Richardson was born to be a large animal veterinarian. While he grew up
and went to school right here in Missoula, he spent as much time as he could spare
working on his grandfather's farm in Kalispell. After completing his undergraduate
degree through Washington State and the University of Montana, he graduated from
Colorado State Veterinary School in 1980.
After 30+ years of practicing veterinary medicine, you can count on Dick to tell
you exactly what he thinks which makes him well loved by his clients and patients
alike.

Dr. Trevor Ferguson
Dr. Trevor Ferguson joined Blue Mountain Veterinary Hospital in 2013. He attended
Oregon State College of Veterinary from 2003–2007, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary
Medicine degree. After completing veterinary school, he did an additional Equine
internship at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
Dr. Ferguson has a special interest in reproduction medicine and wound management.
After joining BMVH in 2013 he has added equine and canine advanced reproductive
techniques including embryo transfer, trans cervical AI (canine), and
cryopreservation of semen. In addition, he offers Penn Hip certification for canine
patient's hip certification.
Dr. Ferguson belongs to the professional organizations:
AAEP – American Association Equine Practitioners
MVMA – Montana Veterinary Medical Association
AVMA – American Veterinary Medical Association
Dr. Ferguson has additional interests in training his German Wirehaired Pointers
in AKC and NAVHDA. When he isn't working with patients you will find him spending
time with his growing family or training dogs in the Bitterroot Valley.
